1° Triveneto Pelvic Trauma Congress
Mikai’s commitment to innovation, and in general to search for solutions more in line with the needs of the physician and the health care system, is also reflected in the active participation in congresses of national and international importance.
The company will exhibit at the 1° Triveneto Pelvic Trauma Congress – from emergency to definitive treatment, an event aimed at physicians and medical professionals that offers a wide range of surgery cases focused on managing polytrauma with fractures of the pelvis, fractures with disruption of the pelvic girdle, fractures of the acetabulum and the two columns, case studies and special situations. Congress received 6 CME credits for surgeon category disciplines of orthopedics and trauma and physical medicine and rehabilitation.
The registration fee includes access to scientific sessions, the Conference kit and a certificate of participation. To register for the Congress, you must complete and submit the registration form by September 17, 2016. After that date it will be possible to register only at the Congress venue.
9° Trauma Meeting
Mikai will exhibit at 9° Trauma Conference event that over time has become one of the major national events dedicated to trauma. The 9th Edition of the Meeting will be devoted particularly to diaphyseal femur, fracture-dislocations of the ankle and foot fractures.
Ample time will be dedicated to specialized companies and symposia organized by firms that have contributed to the Organization of the Congress. For the occasion Mikai organized two symposia: one dedicated to management and the results of complex trauma treated by ClickIt ER Emergency fixator and ClickIt CF circular fixator, the other focusing on pathological fractures of the upper extremity, with the presentation of a new minimally invasive photodynamic system.
In addition, an electronic communications section was scheduled with an unlimited number of presentations, which will see a selection of the best three presentations for each topic of the Congress. These will be discussed in plenary and for each topic a scholarship will be offered by Otodi.
54° SICM National Congress: distal radius fracture cases
Mikai, at the 54° SICM National Congress, will organize a symposium dedicated to the treatment of borderline distal radius fracture cases. The IBRA training format, already used for some time in many countries and in recent years in Italy, will be followed. It will merge mutual experiences for some of the most important hand surgery centers to build a comprehensive and stimulating scientific program on wrist traumatology.
Diagnosis and treatment of bone and joint infections – III Edition
Mikai will exhibit at the 3° edition of the Conference “Modern Guidelines in diagnosis and therapy of Osteoarticular infections” to be held Friday, October 21 in the Palazzo Uffizi Conference Hall in Naples.
Later in the day several speakers will discuss innovative techniques and surgical strategies in the treatment of infections, but also surgical aspects in infection of the diabetic foot, antibiotic therapy and surgical treatments of osteoarticular infections. The Conference will close with the study of complications presenting some significant clinical cases.
The trauma of the wrist in sports: Mikai presents
The treatment of wrist trauma has experienced major developments in recent years due to better understanding of functional anatomy and injuries, as well as the development of increasingly sophisticated techniques including arthroscopy.
Mikai, a company specialized in the manufacture and marketing of trauma devices for synthesis and correction of bones and joints, organized the symposium in Turin with the goal to elevate the current level of the latest techniques for sports injuries and reduction.
The symposium is open to orthopedists, sports doctors and therapists. Membership is free and formalized by sending an email to the Secretariat: enrica.garre@mikai.it. In addition, registration includes a guided tour of the Juventus Stadium and Museum. At the end of the event attendees will receive a certificate of participation.
All around the wrist IV – Intrarticular fractures
Mikai will exhibit at the International Conference “All Around the Wrist IV – Intra-articular Fractures” which will be held in Milan on November 11. Late in the day the conference will cover different types of intra-articular distal radius fractures, including fractures of the bones of the carpus and carpal scaphoid, but also the fracture-dislocations of the base of the metacarpal and 4 and 5 level complex trauma with joint involvement.
The Conference will end with a session dedicated to the study of meaningful clinical cases and post traumatic outcomes, which will be followed by the presentation of new technologies on the market.
Medica 2016: Mikai partecipa alla fiera della medicina di Dusseldorf
Medica is the world’s largest medical trade fair for medical technology, medical equipment, laboratory equipment, diagnostic and pharmaceutical industries. A trade fair which Mikai cannot and does not want to miss.
The fair is held once a year in Dusseldorf and is open only to industry players. The increase in life expectancy, the progress in medicine and the increasing awareness of people towards their health are increasing the demand for new and modern methods of treatment, resulting in a significant contribution to efficiency and quality of patient care.
The fair is divided into several areas: electromedicine and medical technology, information and communications technology, physiotherapy and orthopedic technology, single use, raw materials and consumables, laboratory equipment and diagnostic products.
In addition to the actual medical fair there are also lectures and forums dedicated to the world of medical devices, as well as many activities and shows. Medica is held concurrently with the world’s largest trade fair for medicine, Compamed.
Medica will be held over four days, from Monday 14 November and Thursday, November 17, 2016, in Düsseldorf.
